Smothered Pork Chops with Potatoes in Gravy

  • Pat chops dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  • Heat oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • Sear pork chops forย 3โ€“4 minutes per sideย until golden brown.
  • Remove and set aside.

3๏ธโƒฃย Cook the Aromatics

  • In the same pan, add sliced onions. Cook forย 5 minutesย until soft and golden.
  • Stir in garlic and cook forย 1 minuteย more.

  • Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to coat.
